Endoscopy

Endoscopy involves the use of a small video camera to look inside the body. It’s an important part of diagnosing and treating upper gastrointestinal and colon diseases.

A colonoscopy looks inside the colon and an upper GI endoscopy (or EGD) looks inside the upper part of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum.

Once a diagnosis has been made, your surgeon may suggest diet modification, medications, or surgery to treat the illness as well as methods for preventing future disease.
Ophthalmology

Ophthalmology

Ophthalmology addresses eye issues, including cataracts and glaucoma. An ophthalmologist specializes in eye and vision care and is trained in all eye conditions. Once a diagnosis has been made, eye drops, medication, or surgery may be necessary.

It is important to follow up with your ophthalmologist to monitor the progress of your treatment and proper healing.
